My Bees

Here's my synopsis on My Bee I.

Shot taken outdoor, so light is an abundance. Focal lens is at 300mm. ISO speed set at 200. Shutter speed 1/800 sec at 5.6f/stop.

The flower is not that big, bout 2.5cm in diameter, height bout a foot tall. so imaginelah I kena tiarap...hehe. and how tiny is the bee.

As u all maklum, Qatar is always a bit breeeezyyy most of the time. Jadi banyak2 lah bersabar....

Increase a lil bit of the contrast and merahkan sikit..jadilah cam ni.

Next is My Bee II

meaning you used the zoom lens for the My Bee photo? I have a few yang pakai zoom lens to take "close-up" photos. Can this be considered as Macro as well?

Do you all the time use manual control for your photo or use the programs available?

Tadi pagi ada attempt nak ambik gambar bunga. Mak oi, angin. Kensellah. Last-last ambik gambar benda aje. :D

Yes I used my Sigma zoom lens, but in MACRO mode to go nearer to the subject. So I consider MACRO jugaklah. Bolehkan?

The only program I used besides Manual mode is AV. Set the Aperture that I want, the shutter speed will be Auto.

I thought of posting my Insect in MACRO, but after you mentioned bout the Food theme, tak jadilah
